When many people search for reviews about Fat camps in Australia, many people think that fat camps are unexciting and sometimes, well, a bit frightening. The reality is that a fat camp is never heaps of fun, mainly because you are going to the camp for one reason: You are fat and you need to loose weight. That’s why intention is towards a definite weight loss agenda or else plans to go with your requirements, which also regulates an effective weight loss program for you. Fat camps are a temporary fix, that can put your life in the right track, but in reality the idea is to give the campers the tools they need for when they return home.

That is the most difficult part… the return to real life, to junk food, to lack of exercise, to the video games, etc.

Many people think that in Australia, Fat camp is a just a simple and plain sleepover summer camp for overweight children, teens, or adults that seeks to help participants lose weight. Well, in a basic way it is, but it is more complicate than that. One of the best things of many of these fat camps, is the importance they add in healthy diet and exercise habits so the camps members can make lifestyle changes and stay in shape after camp is over.

We usually talk about Fat camps and we talk abot kids that need this as a solution to find the light… to find a way to become fitter, because let’s face it, kids these days don’t do anything but sit and eat junk food.! At last the NSW health department seems to agree with this, we are getting fatter and our kids are doing the same!

Our childrens are less active than ever before, and don’t always practice healthy eating habits in or out of their homes. Too much Xbox, too much Ps3…. and even now we feel that buying a wii is helping them to do some sport! Come one, let’s face it it seems that many children tend to avoid physical activity even more, because they are afraid they won’t do well, or to avoid the teasing of other kids. Kids were commonly nick named chubby, fatty, fat, tank, hippo, is that want we want for our kids.  Being chubby is not fun, being fat can destroy your life, so although going to a fat camp is not pretty much a cool idea, it is going to help you and your kids. It can make a different and that’s why you should consider it….

Kids learn to associate weight loss and exercise with suffering and embarrassment rather than success and confidence. And they usually regain the weight once they return to the “real world” because fat camps’ restrictive diet and excessive exercise regime isn’t sustainable at home.
